my heart sinks
to see you like this
you're breaking bridges, you're burning ties
throwing wild accusations around
we don't know just what you want
cause you're too busy
trying to analyse the words of everyone around you
dive in to cold water
and give yourself to the sea
and you won't tell a single soul
whereabouts you're gonna be
when you're not rising to the surface
asphyxiating rapidly
they'll say it's far too late to save you
watching ripples glide towards me
my heart sinks
to see you like this
i'm in shock and paralysed
at the thought of you being around
i'm fearful of the impact you'll have
although I know it's not really your fault
you can't help yourself another way
you've grown into somebody we don't know
if you're still here we'd love to speak with you again
such beautifully layered textures and arrangements. it's in korean so i don't understand a word of it but i suspect the lyrics are dope too. the standout for me is track two, 'these chains' dave sylvester
photay manipulates sound unlike anyone else i've heard. it's organic, well intentioned music that pushes the envelope and defies genres. 'is it right?' & 'the people' are favourites of mine. dave sylvester
more sonic genius. minimal but also rich, atmospheric and devastatingly beautiful from start to finish. envelopes and ice cream are my picks but it really deserves to be listened to as a whole album. dave sylvester
