i look inside myself
and i hate what i see
staring back at me
your face says it all
now the writing's on the wall
now everything has changed
suddenly it's changed
i can't take you with me
months have passed us now
and you'll still kick me when I'm down
and spit in my face
moan on and on about how I'm a disgrace to you
i never wanted you to feel this way
but what the fuck else am i supposed to say?
should i look you in the eye and lie straight to your face?
and tell you that i feel the same?
i can't take you with me
because my love for you never grew
such beautifully layered textures and arrangements. it's in korean so i don't understand a word of it but i suspect the lyrics are dope too. the standout for me is track two, 'these chains' dave sylvester
photay manipulates sound unlike anyone else i've heard. it's organic, well intentioned music that pushes the envelope and defies genres. 'is it right?' & 'the people' are favourites of mine. dave sylvester
more sonic genius. minimal but also rich, atmospheric and devastatingly beautiful from start to finish. envelopes and ice cream are my picks but it really deserves to be listened to as a whole album. dave sylvester
